Using VPN To Access Twitter Exposes Your Data Including Bank Account – Lai Mohammed (VIDEO)

 


Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture, has advised anyone who uses VPNs to circumvent the country’s Twitter restrictions to stop.

Lai Mohammed, who testified before MPs during an investigation into the country’s ban on Twitter’s operation, stated that using a VPN exposes one’s data, including their bank account.

The Minister further stated that those who believe they are harming him by utilizing VPN are actually harming themselves.


Mohammed went on to say that the ban has given “resourceful Nigerians a fantastic opportunity to also look at how they can create an app that can replace Twitter and other social media sites.”
