Gulder Ultimate Search: Meet 16 Participating Contestants, See How to watch for Free [Photos/Video]



Gulder Ultimate Search season 12 is set to premiere on Saturday, October 16, and viewers can watch the show on Africa Magic channels.

The show tagged ‘The Age of Craftsmanship’, has actor and Gulder Season 7 winner Kunle Remi as the taskmaster while media personality, Toke Makinwa was announced as the anchor.



Of the 20 contestants participating in the 2021 Gulder Ultimate Search, only 16 have made it to the jungle.


The show host, Gideon Okeke made this disclosure at the unveiling ceremony held at the Eko Hotels in Lagos.


The 16 contestants are Adewale Adedamola Thompson, Chidinma Okeibe, Damilola Odedina, and Emmanuel Nnebe.

Others are Estima Edem, Gerald Odeka, Tosin Eniola, and Umorean Iniabasi.


Jennifer Okorie, Mfom Mikel Essien, Tubuchukwu, and Olayinka Omeya,


Omokhafe Racheal, Solomon Yankari, Opeyemi Ishmael, and Orevapghene Godswill.


Here is more about the 16 Gulder Ultimate Search contestants:

Emiola Michael Tosin 

is a 33-year-old public servant. Upon trying to enter the show five times, he has no intention of playing second fiddle; instead, he intends to be the Ultimate Man and use the GUS prize money to start a tomato paste firm.

also known as Gerald Odeka, won gold, silver, and bronze at the National Sports Festival in 2012, and in 2013, competed in the World Athletics Championships in Russia.





He plans to open a sports bar, go back to school, and start a business for his wife upon winning the grand prize.

Adedamola Johnson 

a digital marketer and filmmaker, gets his inspiration from Hollywood director James Cameron and plans to use the grand prize to push his career in filmmaking.



Iniabasi’ Saint Bond’ Umoren is a music producer and vocalist.

In 2018, he won the ‘Kill Ma Beat’ competition, and he claims to have a production credit on DJ Cuppy’s record.



He’s a black belt in Shotokan karate and promises to be the “life of the party” on stage. Iniabasi aims to give back to his community through charity and promote his music career if he wins the $50 million award.

Mfon Mikel Esin

 enjoys adventure, writing, and reading. 



He is a freelance writer, model, and passionate Arsenal supporter. He considers himself a Casanova and believes he is singularly charming.

The survival reality TV premieres, which premieres today (Saturday) is billed to air on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv channel 151), Africa Magic Urban (DStv channel 153) and Africa Magic Family (DStv channel 154 & GOtv channel 2).

GUS airs only twice a week -every Saturday and Sunday – from 8 pm to 9 pm, according to a release from the organisers.

There will be a recap during the week. If you miss Saturday’s episode, you can watch it again on all the designated channels on Monday at 2 pm.

Recap of Sunday’s episode will be made available on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv channel 151) on Tuesday at 12 pm, Africa Magic Urban (DStv channel 153) on Wednesday at 12 pm and Africa Magic Family (DStv channel 154 & GOtv channel 2) on Thursday at 12 pm.

Ahead of the premiere, the 18 contestants who made it through the regional screening process were revealed.
