How Davido’s mum rescued my son from swimming pool 25 years ago — Oba Abolarin Reveals

Oba Abolarn Adedokun, the Orangun of Oke-lla, n Ifedayo Local Government Area of Osun state, has penned a touchng trbute n honor of late Davdo’s son, Ifeany who drowned n a pool on Monday, October 31st, 2022.

In hs trbute, the royal father, Oba Abolarn recounted how snger Davdo’s mum, Veronca rescued hs own son from a swmmng pool 25 years ago.

“So sad, t was Davdo’s mummy, late Dr. Mrs. Veronca Adeleke that rescued my own son nsde the swmmng pool, some twenty-fve years ago. I am sad. What Veronca dd for my son years back, nobody, I mean nobody to play that same role for Veronca’s grandson, Ifeany!” Oba Abolarn revealed.

He concluded by sayng “Who are we to query God, may hs soul rest n peace and may Veronca’s soul contnue to rest n peace, fantastc woman!”

Meanwhle, Ngeran entertaners have sent condolences to Afro-pop star Davd Adeleke, popularly known as Davdo, and partner, Choma Rowland over the death of ther son Ifeany.

Kem Flan reports that Ifeany drowned n a pool at Davdo’s house n Banana Island, Lagos State.

The youngster was reportedly rushed to a nearby hosptal after the ncdent, where he was confrmed dead.

Takng to ther socal meda accounts, some of the celebrtes expressed gref and condoled wth the Adeleke famly.
