Two students of the Kwara State Unversty (KWASU), dentfed as Tobloba Danel and Arewa Abayom, have been found dead and naked n a hostel room.
The 200-level students were reportedly found dead n Danel’s hostel room located off campus, and they were both stark naked.
A student of the nsttuton who spoke n confdence to Daly Trust sad they grew concerned when the deceased students mssed an examnaton.
The student sad,
“We suspect they were lovers and became concerned when they were not seen durng an examnaton and for three days.
“It was when some of ther frends got to ther hostel room outsde the school that they found them dead and naked. We suspect t’s a case of posonng.”
The Kwara State Polce Spokesperson, SP Ajay Okasanm, who confrmed the ncdent, sad.
“The nformaton s that the two of them were found dead nsde ther room and the polce were alerted.
“Our offcers pulled down the door and they were taken to the Unversty of Ilorn Teachng Hosptal (UITH) for autopsy. Investgaton nto the matter s ongong.”
Meanwhle, the spokesperson of the Insttuton, Haja Saeedat Alyu, when contacted, sad there was no offcal communcaton on the matter.
