Netizens have started pouring backlashes on Nollywood actor turned politician, Desmond Elliot following a recent video of him soliciting for votes so that he can be reelected into office.
In the video that surfaced online, Desmond Elliot was seen canvassing for votes as he contest for 3rd tenure in the lagos state House of Assembly, Surulere Constituency.
Desmond Elliot, 49-year-old has been in the Lagos State House since April 2015 till date under the party APC.
Recall Intel Region had earlier reported that Desmond Elliot colleague, Olumide Oworu, 28-year-old has made it know to all and sundry that he will be contesting against his colleague under Labour Party for the Surulere constituency in state of house of assembly election that comes up on March 11th, 2023.
While seeking for votes from the people of Surulere, Desmond Elliot promises continuity as he noted that he is going to ensure progressing the lives of the people and moving Lagos forward.
He moves forward by listing what he has done so far that include, free school bus, free ICT training and development, free medical and surgical outreach among others.
