A vdeo has emerged whch captures Uduak Akpan, the convcted muurrderer of Inubong Umoren, tryng to escape after he was sentenced to death.

Uduak was tred and convcted by Justce Bassey Nkanang of the Akwa Ibom State Hgh Court today, August 4, for raappng and klllng Inubong Umoren.Recall that Akpan muurddered Umoren, a Unversty of Uyo phlosophy graduate, n Aprl 2021.

Whle watng to be moblzed for the mandatory Natonal Youth Servce Corps (NYSC) program, the deceased was lookng for work when she came across Akpan.

He pretended to have a poston for her. However, when she arrved at hs place, Akpan raappped her before klllng her.After beng sentenced to death for hs crmes, he had made an attempt to flee the court but was quckly apprehended.
