When one starts out n any new feld, they want to be the best at what they do. They want to clmb up the ladder and shne n ther feld more than anybody else n that feld has shned before, and so they go above and beyond to stand out.

When you’re an actor, ths means takng any jobs you can fnd, dong what other actors or actresses mght be uncomfortable to do, and bascally dong whatever you can to stand out n the feld. But then what happens when years later you are now establshed n that feld? For some people, they look at ther journey there and are happy wth all the decsons they made on ther way to gettng there. For some others, they look back and there are some regrets that they have n some of the decsons they made.

For actress Mercy Johnson, lookng back on her career now, there are some decsons she wshes she would have made dfferently, and the 38 year old actress s explanng why. Here’s what Mercy sad n an ntervew wth Goldmyne.

Speakng about why she can no longer do certan thngs lke go n*ked or do romantc scenes n moves, Mercy Johnson sad:

When I do that, what would the younger grls do? When you grow past a certan level, you try to go ahead and do better. For me, you don’t need people to tell you what’s rght or wrong

Age s tellng on me. I’ve grown past that level, I’m answerable to too many people: my husband and my kds. I hate to embarrass them n any way. My daughter s growng. She gets hold of my phone sometmes, begns to Google, and goes lke, ‘Mum, my frends sad…’ And they’re very nqustve.

I don’t thnk t [playng nude scenes] s somethng I want to do to make my kds queston me n any way or have somethng n ther mnd that they want to ask and they can’t.

My sense of maturty s better, my judgments are better. Some of the errors I made n the past are thngs that I wouldn’t do now. Some choces I made back then I wouldn’t make now.
