Popular Filmmaker, Otu Njama dies hours after mourning his colleague Biyi Bandele

Nollywood has been thrown nto mournng yet agan as flmmaker, Otu Njama, has passed away n the late hours of Thursday, August 9.

Otu, who was n hs thrtes, was found dead n hs house located n Frst Unty estate n Badore, Ajah area of Lagos state, around 9pm.

He reportedly went to the hosptal for medcal checkup and was told that hs blood pressure was hgh – about 200 – and was advsed to rest but he couldn’t because he had a show on Thursday, August 11.

He was sad to have vsted a bar he owns n the area. After seeng hs employees and havng dnner, he went home and sad no one should dsturb hm.

Sadly, hs lfeless body was found n hs apartment hours later.

Hs sster, Judth, who confrmed the sad ncdent, sad a drug for blood pressure was found n hs apartment but she was not aware of hs health ssues.

Otu’s death comes barely 24 hours after he joned hs colleagues n the Nollywood ndustry to mourn ther colleague, popular move drector, By Bandele, on socal meda.

Bandele ded n Lagos on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at the age of 54, the famly sad n a statement on Tuesday mornng, August 9.

The news of Bandele’s death also confrmed by hs colleagues, who expressed shock and sorrow as they put up hs pcture to mourn hm.
