Ngeran snger, Babatunde Rahm, known professonally as Lyta n a recent statement sheds more lght on what transpred between hm and hs former boss, Olamde.
Recall that Lyta, the “Tme” crooner sgned a record deal wth YBNL Naton n 2018 but left the label n May 2019 after havng a dsagreement wth the label owner Olamde.
Lyta durng an ntervew on the the podcast Echoo Room revealed that he left YBNL smply because of confuson.
He sad that when he dropped hs ht song “Tme” featurng Olamde, he allowed hs frends to get nto hs head wth some random talks as he was much younger then.
Speakng further Lyta sad he tred to return to YBNL but Olamde dd not respond to hm as he also unfollowed hm on Instagram.
He however added that he ddn’t blame hmself for hs fallout wth Olamde as he noted that he ddn’t really understand the musc ndustry those years.
Lyta also speaks about YBNL sgnee that ncluded Asake and Freboy DML and others as he noted that he s been thrlled wth the energy by theses artstes.
He added that YBNL snger, Asake vbe pushes hm more to stand up and face hs musc the more.

Why Lyta left YBNL?
“When we want to drop new songs, we do so n a group of fve. I was droppng my songs and they were talkng about a calendar of some sort that I knew nothng about,” the snger had explaned. “I couldn’t always have to wat that long before droppng songs for my fans. That was why I made the move to leave the label.
He later ends up at Nara Marley’s Marlan Records. Further reports says he s no more at Nara Marley records label.
