Mrs. Amarach Okech, the wdow who was publcly tortured n the Umueghu communty of Aba state after she was branded a wtch, has fully recovered and been dscharged from the hosptal.
It would be recalled that Mrs. Okech was ted and flogged after her late husbandโs brotherโs wfe accused her of beng a wtch.
The youths n Umueghu, Amaegbuato communty, Nkpa Bende LGA, Aba State, ted her up publcly for two days, after whch the grown men n the communty took turns floggng her wth fve strokes each all over her body.
She was later rescued and taken to a hosptal for treatment, accordng to the wfe of the Aba State Governor.
In a recent development, human rghts actvst, Harrson Gwamnshu, shared a new photo and vdeo of Mrs. Amarach Okeze lookng all glammed up after her recovery.
Harrson revealed that he has taken Mrs. Okech to hs place n Asaba as she cannot return to her home n Aba due to the trauma she experenced.

I nstructed they brng her to my house n Asaba, Delta State. She needed to heal from her past and I offered to be her son and took the burden. I wll contnue to support and use my platform to protect vulnerable wdows and I urge everyone to do the same.โ
