Former Jgawa State governor, Sule Lamdo, has descrbed Rvers State Governor Nyesom Wke as a poltcal emperor who would soon fnd hmself n a poltcal dustbn n eght months.
Lamdo stated ths when asked f Wke‘s current stance could hurt the party’s chances n the 2023 electons durng an ntervew on Channels TV on Tuesday.
“Please leave Wke alone. He has the rght to do whatever he wants. He can gve order f people n Rvers are slaves to hm,” Mr Lamdo retorted. “If they are hs own slave, he can control them. Far enough, he s ther emperor let hm gve them order.”
“I saw hm on TV the other day and I felt a lttle worred the way he (Wke) was talkng because he was too bombastc,” he contnued. “In the next eght months, Wke wll be lke me, n the same poltcal dustbn of former governors.”
FLvbe recalls that Lamdo sad Wke made t clear he was not nterested n the Peoples Democratc Party vce-presdental slot.
He clamed that Wke sad he was not usng the PDP presdental prmary to negotate for a VP slot.
Recall that there has been speculaton that Wke mght leave the PDP followng hs fallout wth Abubakar Atku, who defeated hm to clnch the PDP tcket n May.
